Festival of Trees & All Things Christmas Launches in our Community

Nov 19, 2021 | Events

Christmas magic filled the air today as our community kicked off the holiday season with the launch of the annual Festival of Trees and All Things Christmas at Northgate Shopping Centre.

It is a ‘hybrid festival’ including an in-person display featuring beautifully decorated Christmas trees, wreaths and other holiday novelties and décor. Auction bids are placed online at https://www.32auctions.com/festivaloftrees2021. The Festival is open to the public:

  • Friday, November 19: 11am-6pm
  • Saturday, November 20: 11am-4pm
  • Sunday, November 21: 12pm-4pm
  • Wednesday, November 24: 11am-4pm
  • Thursday, November 25: 11am-7pm
  • Friday, November 26: 11am-4pm

The auction closes on Friday, November 26th at 4:00 p.m.

Trees, wreaths and silent auction items were decorated and donated by local businesses and organizations. Every bid adds value to the community by supporting the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation and the PADDLE Program; festival partners since 2017.

“Generous sponsors and donors make The Festival of Trees and All Things Christmas possible while having an impact on two incredibly worthy causes. Come enjoy the magic of the season and support PADDLE and the MRI Upgrade Project at North Bay Regional Health Centre,” said Tammy Morison, President and CEO of the NBRHC Foundation. A special thank you to everyone bidding on auction items, your generosity is having an impact on the lives of others,” added Morison.

“The PADDLE Program and all of our participants look forward to this wonderful event launching the Christmas season. We offer thanks and appreciation to everyone involved,” said Megan Johnson, PADDLE Program Executive Director. “The Festival symbolizes how the beauty of Christmas is about people coming together and supporting organizations working to help our community,” she added.
