Over 140 people gathered for the NBRHC Foundation Celebrating Life Memorial Reception this October, coming together in a heartfelt moment of remembrance and reflection.
The evening featured a moving tribute from our special guest, Marcelle Beaulieu, who shared the story of her beloved late husband, Rhéal – a story that resonated deeply with everyone present.
Marcelle honoured Rhéal as “the man who filled my life with love, laughter, and unwavering support.” She described him as kind and compassionate, devoted to family and community, and someone whose memory continues to inspire her.
She spoke with gratitude about the exceptional care Rhéal received at the North Bay Regional Health Centre during his final days. Thanks to the compassionate doctors, nurses, and staff, Marcelle was able to be by his side, providing comfort and love until the very end – a reminder of the profound impact exceptional health care has on families, close to home.
