Rules of Play

1. Purchaser must be 18 years or older to play.
2. Tickets will be sold via cash, cheque, debit, or credit, Tickets purchased through nbrhcfoundation.ca payment portal will be issued physically through the mail. NBRHC Employees may purchase a ticket through payroll deductions.
3. Only 999 tickets are to be printed. Tickets can be purchased for $99 each.
4. After buying, patrons will receive a confirmation e-mail or physical ticket for the Annual Hospital Lottery. Tickets are assigned in ascending order.
5. Each winning ticket number will be selected at random through a random drum draw. All selected tickets will be returned to the drum before the next prize is drawn.
6. North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation Staff, as well as family members living in the same household are not permitted to purchase tickets and are not eligible to win.
7. On occasion, NBRHC Foundation will utilize volunteers to assist with the Annual Hospital Lottery. These volunteers are eligible to play, win prize(s) and otherwise participate in the Annual Hospital Lottery.
8. One prize will be awarded for each draw. Winning tickets and draw prizes will be available to view on the nbrhcfoundation.ca/hospital-lottery/ webpage. If provided information about the winner is correct, the winner will be contacted directly via phone or email.
9. The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchased for.
10. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will be kept in a safe and held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to a charity other than NBRHC Foundation with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
11. The winner may claim their prize by contacting NBRHC Foundation by phone (705) 495-8125 or by email FoundationLottery@nbrhc.on.ca
12. . The ticket may then be brought to the Foundation Office, located in Pod A2 of the North Bay Regional Health Centre located at 50 College Drive, at an agreed upon time for ticket verification. The winner will then be paid by cheque for the amount posted at the event for which they bought their ticket. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies. All payments will be made by cheque.
13. The winner must provide his/her name, address, and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet.
14. Winners consent to the release of their name and photograph by licensee for publicity purposes.

16. Tickets can be purchased by:
    1. Completing a purchase form and returning it, with payment, to the NBRHC Foundation Office (50 College Dr Pod A2)
    2. Making a purchase on nbrhcfoundation.ca
17. Tickets will be sold beginning 9:00 am EST on October 01, 2025 and ending at 11:59 pm EST on December 16, 2026. A series of draws from January 22, 2026 to December 17, 2026. Each draw will take place at or about 10AM EST on the dates listed below.
