WASHINGTON, D.C., (September 14, 2022)–Kendra Clarke from North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation has been included in the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) 2022 40 Under 40 list.

The AHP 40 Under 40 recognition program honors the industry’s brightest young leaders who have demonstrated success in their careers in healthcare philanthropy.

“These honorees are part of a select group who have demonstrated impressive career achievements, deep community involvement, and outstanding leadership in all they do,” said Alice Ayres, AHP President and Chief Executive Officer.

Kendra, now Senior Development Officer, has worked for the NBRHC Foundation since 2010, when she began her career as an intern. She has a postgraduate certificate in Fundraising & Resource Development from Georgian College and in 2016, she earned your Certified Fund Raising Executive designation.

Kendra coordinated the fundraising efforts and 25 community volunteers involved in the $6 million Cancer Care, Close to Home campaign, which surpassed its goal by raising $6.3 million over the course of 30 months. In addition to her work with the Foundation, she currently volunteers on the North Bay Granite Club Board of Directors, with the Boost National Grand Slam of Curling, and AHP.

Last spring, Kendra was the recipient of the AHP Hospital Development and Education Fund of Canada (HDEF) Scholarship to attend the 2022 International Conference in Chicago.

“This prestigious recognition is a testament to the dedication and passion Kendra possesses for our community and its healthcare. Demonstrated through her professional development journey, she is eager to learn and apply new knowledge and best practices. She is a mentor and a leader for both junior staff and volunteers. Congratulations Kendra on being honoured by AHP!” said Tammy Morison President & CEO, NBRHC Foundation.
